Wholeness

Wholeness is the work. Rest is the way.
Lately, I’ve been redefining what it means to be whole.
Not complete. Not perfect. Not constantly pushing for more.
But truly whole.
The kind of wholeness that feels like safety in your own body. The kind that whispers: you are safe, you are seen, you can soften.
What I’m Learning About Wholeness
Wholeness is not some distant milestone. It’s a rhythm of returning—again and again—to yourself.
For me, wholeness looks like:
A regulated nervous system
A secure attachment style
A deep relationship with rest
Not one without the others. Not someday, when everything is finally healed— But right now, in the small, sacred ways I return to myself.
Rest as the Path to Wholeness
“He makes me lie down in green pastures, He leads me beside quiet waters, He restores my soul.” — Psalm 23:2–3 (NIV)
Rest is not a reward for being whole. Rest is how we become whole.
Wholeness is holy. And rest is the path.
Today’s Rest Ritual
Place one hand over your heart and one on your belly.
Close your eyes. Take three deep breaths.
Whisper to yourself: “I am safe. I am whole. I am worthy of rest.”
If your soul has been whispering that it’s time to soften—listen.
You don’t have to earn rest.
