For the one who’s been carrying more than she admits

There’s a quiet weight you’ve been moving through your days with — not heavy enough to stop you, but present enough to exhaust you.

It’s the pressure to be dependable.

The expectation to stay composed.

The unspoken belief that if you slow down, everything around you might fall apart.

But here’s the truth heaven keeps trying to hand you:

You were never meant to hold what only grace can carry.

There is a gentler rhythm available to you — one that doesn’t demand strength at all times, one that welcomes your sighs, one that honors the parts of you that feel stretched, tender, or tired.

Rest isn’t stepping away from your responsibilities.

It’s stepping back into your rightful place as God’s beloved.

You don’t earn rest through completing tasks; you inherit it because you exist.

🖤 Ritual for the Week:

Tomorrow morning, before tending to anything or anyone else, sit at the edge of your bed.

Place your feet on the floor.

Take one slow inhale and whisper:

“Today, I refuse to carry what isn’t mine.”

Let that be the doorway you walk through as you begin your day.
