Pause. Unclench your jaw. Inhale deeply. Let this be your sanctuary.
Rest isn’t always easy. But it’s always sacred.
Rest as Trust
When you choose rest, you choose to trust.
Trust that you’re not missing out.
Trust that your worth isn’t tied to productivity.
Trust that God provides—even when you pause.
Rest is one of the most radical acts of faith you can practice.
This week, I had to remind myself: Resting doesn’t mean I’m slipping. It means I’m standing on faith.
Faith in Stillness
Because real faith whispers:
I believe God is still moving, even when I’m still.
I believe I am held, even when I’m not holding it all together.
That’s not laziness. That’s liberation.
Scripture Anchor
“Come to me, all you who are weary and are carrying heavy burdens, and I will give you rest.” — Matthew 11:28 (NRSV)
This Week’s Practice: Radical Rest Ritual
Take 20 minutes today to rest without guilt and without a goal.
No phone. No performing. No multitasking.
Just breathe. Be.
Let that be your declaration of faith.
A Final Reflection
What would it look like for you to treat rest as a declaration of faith this week?
Write it down. Feel it in your body. Let it be enough.
You are not behind. You are not forgotten. You are not failing.
You are trusting.
And that trust is holy.
