Grief & joy at the same table

Beloved,
If this season feels heavy, you’re not alone.
Grief doesn’t disappear because the world puts lights up.
Scripture is full of people holding both grief and joy —
Hannah, the psalmists, Jesus himself.
“The Lord is near to the brokenhearted, and saves the crushed in spirit.” — Psalm 34:18, NRSV
Your truth is not too much for God.
Three gentle practices for the week:
1. Name the truth.
“This season is hard because…”
2. Ritual of remembrance or relief.
Light a candle. Release a tradition. Add one tiny thing that feels like ease.
3. Let yourself be held.
Tell one person, “This season is a lot for me.”
Rest includes grief.
Rest includes honesty.
Your archetype can help you understand what your heart needs right now — reread yours this week with tenderness.
With radical rest + soft power,
Kristen Renee Ingram
