Stillness Is a Form of Worship

ree

Breathe in deeply. Exhale softly. Let yourself arrive—unrushed, unproven, unbothered.

Stillness is sacred. Not just silence. Not just pause. But a posture of deep trust.

When Rest Turns Into Rushing

This week, I caught myself rushing—even through rest.

I had to pause and remember: Stillness isn’t weakness. It’s worship.

You don’t have to do more to be loved. You don’t have to achieve to be enough.

God’s love doesn’t wait at the finish line— it meets you in the stillness.

Holy Rebellion

In a world that rewards noise, performance, and overproduction, choosing to rest becomes an act of holy rebellion.

Because even stillness is a form of worship.

To rest is to say:

  • I trust the One who holds me.

  • I believe I’m already worthy.

  • I know I don’t have to hustle for what’s already mine.

Scripture Anchor

“Be still, and know that I am God.” — Psalm 46:10 (NRSV)

This Week’s Practice: Sacred Stillness

  • Find 10 quiet minutes.

  • No phone. No planning. No proving.

Just sit in stillness. Let God meet you there. Let love hold you there. Let that be enough.

Ask yourself: What might open up in my life if I honored stillness as sacred this week?

A Final Reminder

Even now—rest is worship. Stillness is spiritual. You are already whole.
